         基於激發青少年對英語寫作藝術的熱愛，傳承優秀英語寫作技巧並培育兒童及青少年的英文思維與表達能力，激發兒童及青少年對英文寫作的興趣與技能。此次比賽由 亞太區青少年文化及學術協會APYCAA 與 DR-Max 聯合舉辦，RULER香港兒童語言能力評估中心協辦，結合 APYCAA 的賽事組織專長與 DR-Max 的英語教育資源、RULER香港兒童語言能力評估中心專業的評估體系，旨在激發兒童及青少年對英文寫作的興趣，提升語言表達、邏輯思維與創意能力。以文傳意，展英語寫作魅力，鑄亞太少年文魂。

         亞太區青少年英文寫作比賽。

         DR-Max Limited  是一家香港本土教育公司，專注於兒童學習材料的開發與推廣，擁有近20年經驗。核心產品包括全面英語學習系統，針對0-12歲兒童及青少年，透過遊戲化學習、科學重複原則，提升英文寫作、閱讀及語法能力，強調自主學習與語言表達技巧的培養。

         RULER香港兒童語言能力評估中心，搜羅及研發多套優質、專業的兒童語言發展評估工具，為學校、學生及家長提供具參考價值的分析及建議，以發掘並適當地培養兒童及青少年的語言學習「潛能」和「強項」，藉此提升語言能力。

比賽細則/Competition Regulations

1. 比賽主題與形式：

主題：

  1. 「Stories of Tomorrow」——鼓勵參賽者以未來科技、環境保護或個人成長為靈感，創作英文短文，展現想像力與邏輯表達。

作品形式：

  • 原創英文作文，可選敘述文、描寫文或議論文。​

​​

2. 作品要求：

  • 內容需求：注重語法準確、詞彙豐富、結構清晰及創意表達。

  • 字數限制：100-500字。

  • 紙張規格：A4/英文作文紙大小，橫幅或垂直尺寸皆可。

  • 作品必須原創，獨立完成，或在老師、家長輔導下完成。禁止使用AI工具或抄襲，違者取消資格。

  • 鼓勵融入個人觀點或文化元素，如香港本地特色或亞太地區背景。

3. 提交方式與要求：

  • 提交形式：線上參賽，參賽者上傳作品掃描或高清照片（解析度≥300dpi，格式：PDF/JPG/PNG）。

  • 提交平台：使用 APYCAA 官網網站線上提交。

  • 提交作品：檔案上載前必須把檔案名稱儲存為「參賽組別_參賽者中或英文全名」。

  • 每位參賽者只能提交一份參賽作品，第二份作品不獲評審。

4. 參賽流程：

  • 請參賽者填寫參賽報名表后進行提交。

  • 請於截止日期前，透過官方網站提交參賽作品，並依指定格式完成檔案命名。

  • 若有其他問題，請通過 WhatsApp 與我們聯絡諮詢。​​​​​​

1. Competition Theme 

  • Theme:"Stories of Tomorrow" — Encouraging participants to draw inspiration from future technology, environmental protection, or personal growth to create English short essays that demonstrate imagination and logical expression.​​

  •  Work Format:Original English composition. Participants may choose from narrative, descriptive, or argumentative essay genres.

2. Work Requirements

  • Content Specifications: Emphasis on grammatical accuracy, rich vocabulary, clear structure, and creative expression.

  • Word Count Limit: 100–500 words.

  • Paper Specifications: A4 or English composition paper size; both horizontal and vertical formats are acceptable.

  • Originality Requirement: Works must be original and completed independently, or with guidance from teachers or parents. The use of AI tools or plagiarism is strictly prohibited, and violators will be disqualified.

  • Additional Encouragement: Integration of personal perspectives or cultural elements (e.g., Hong Kong's local characteristics or Asia-Pacific regional background) is highly encouraged.

3. Submission Method & Requirements

  • Submission Format: Online participation. Participants must upload a scanned copy or high-resolution photo of their work (resolution ≥ 300 dpi, formats: PDF/JPG/PNG).

  • Submission Platform: Online submission via the official APYCAA website.

  • File Naming Rule: Before uploading, name the file as "Competition Category_Participant's Full Name (Chinese or English)".

  • Submission Limit: Each participant may submit only one entry. A second submission will not be evaluated.

4. Competition Process

  • Participants must complete the registration form prior to submission.

  • Submit the entry via the official website by the deadline, following the specified file naming format.

參賽組別/Competition Categories

​

  • 幼兒組（3-5歲）/Kindergarten Group (Ages 3-5)

  • 小童組（6-8歲）/ Lower Children's Group (Ages 6-8)

  • 兒童組（9-11歲) / Higher Children's Group (Ages 9-11)

  • 少年組（12-14歲）/Youth Group (Ages 12-14)

  • 青年組（15-17歲）/Young Adult Group (Ages 15-17)

評分標準/Scoring Criteria

​此次大賽評分總分為100分，將圍繞以下標準進行評定最終成績。

​

語言表達（40%）

  • 詞彙運用精準恰當，能靈活使用各類詞彙傳達細膩含義。

  • 語法結構正確規範，句式多樣且流暢自然，無語法錯誤。

  • 語域風格契合主題與場合，語氣得體且表達生動。
     

內容與結構（30%）

  • 主題扣合緊密，論點清晰明確，內容充實有邏輯。

  • 文章架構完整協調，開頭點題、中間論證充分、結尾昇華得當。

  • 論據或細節具體典型，能有效支撐主旨，增強內容說服力。

創意與思想（30%）

  • 立意新穎獨到，兼具時代視角與個人思考，避免陳詞濫調。

  • 思想內涵豐富，能透過內容傳達深度見解或情感共鳴。

  • 表達形式富有巧思，如敘事節奏、論證角度等展現獨特風格。

The total score for this competition is 100 points, and the final results will be evaluated based on the following criteria.
 

Language Expression (40%)

  • Vocabulary is used accurately and appropriately, with flexible application of various vocabulary to convey subtle meanings.

  • Grammatical structures are correct and standardized, with diverse and fluent sentence patterns and no grammatical errors.

  • The register and style are consistent with the theme and occasion, with appropriate tone and vivid expression.

Content & Structure (30%)

  • Closely aligned with the theme, with clear arguments, substantial content and logical coherence.

  • The article has a complete and coordinated structure: the opening clarifies the theme, the middle part provides sufficient arguments, and the conclusion achieves proper sublimation.

  • Arguments or details are specific and typical, which can effectively support the main idea and enhance the persuasiveness of the content.

Creativity & Ideas (30%)

  • The conception is innovative and unique, integrating contemporary perspectives and personal reflections, avoiding clichés.

  • It has rich ideological connotations, and can convey in-depth insights or emotional resonance through the content.

  • The expression form is ingenious, and the unique style is demonstrated through narrative rhythm, argumentation perspective, etc.

    • 根據參賽團體成員的整體表現排名評定。

    電子獎狀 $230 港元
    電子獎狀＋實體獎狀 $250 港元 
    電子獎狀 + 實體獎狀 + 獎牌 $280港元
    電子獎狀 + 實體獎狀 + 獎牌+ 獎杯 $358港元
    截止申請日期為評審結果公布後二個星期。
    所有獎項會在獎項截止申請日期後八個星期內郵遞寄出。
    獎項及證書透過順豐到付寄送。
    獎項一經簽收，如有損壞或遺失，不補發。
    若因資料錯誤或聯絡困難導致無法投遞，主辦方不負責。
     

  4. 得獎者可申請訂製印有參賽者中文或英文姓名的獎項，同時可額外獲得兩項專屬權益：
    ①由 DR-Max 提供的贊助禮品（DR-Max《奇先生妙小姐EQ10書套裝》）。
    ②「RULER 香港兒童語言能力評估中心」語文能力評估服務一次。
    ③上述 DR-Max 贊助禮品及「RULER香港兒童語言能力評估中心」語文能力評估服務，僅限 3-12 歲學童得獎者享有。若得獎者有意領取 DR-Max 贊助禮品及參加語文能力評估，需親臨香港境內指定線下地點，辦理領取手續及完成評估測試。

  • Platinum Award (Top 12% of participants in the category)

  • Gold Award (Top 12%-25% of participants in the category)

  • Silver Award (Top 26%-45% of participants in the category)

  • Bronze Award (Top 46%-60% of participants in the category)

  • Merit Award (Top 61%-100% of participants in the category)

Group Award Scoring Rules

  • Outstanding School / Organization Award

  • Outstanding Mentor Award

  • Awarded based on the overall performance ranking of the participating group members.

Winners can apply to customize awards with the participant's Chinese or English name.

  • E-Certificate: HK$230

  • E-Certificate + Physical Certificate: HK$250

  • E-Certificate + Physical Certificate + Medal: HK$280

  • E-Certificate + Physical Certificate + Medal + Trophy: HK$358

The deadline for applications is two weeks after the evaluation results are announced.

All awards will be mailed within eight weeks after the application deadline.

Awards and certificates will be sent via SF Express with freight collect.

Once the award is received, no reissuance will be provided for damages or loss.

The organizer is not responsible for unsuccessful deliveries due to incorrect information or contact difficulties.
 

Awards & Exclusive Benefits

Winners can apply to customize awards with the participant's Chinese or English name. Additionally, they are entitled to two exclusive benefits:

  • Sponsored gifts provided by DR-Max（DR-Max "Mr. Men & Little Miss: EQ 10-Book Collection"）.

  • One complimentary language proficiency assessment service offered by "RULER Hong Kong Children's Language Assessment Centre".

  • Note: The aforementioned DR-Max sponsored gifts and RULER's language proficiency assessment service are exclusively available to winning participants aged 3–12. To claim the sponsored gifts and attend the assessment, winners must visit the designated offline location(s) in Hong Kong in person to complete the collection procedures and take the assessment test.

  • 只能遞交一份作品，第二份作品不獲評審

  • 主辦方有權使用參賽影片，讓更多人看到你的精彩演出。

  • 拒絕不適當或無關的作品，保持比賽純粹。

  • 影片不得含有不良內容，保持積極向上的音樂精神。

  • 參賽者須同意比賽規則，保持公平公正。

  • 違規可導致取消資格，請遵守規則。

  • 評判的決定為最終決定，尊重專業評審。

  • 主辦方擁有最終決定權，確保比賽順利進行。

  • 主辦方有權更改條款，保護比賽公正性。

  • 獎項不可轉讓，專屬於努力的你。

  • 提交作品即表示同意規則，展現你的音樂夢想。

  • 主辦方擁有解決爭議的最終決定權，確保公平競爭。

  • Only one entry per participant is allowed. A second submission will not be evaluated.

  • The organizers have the right to use the submitted video to share your outstanding performance with a wider audience.

  • Inappropriate or irrelevant entries will be rejected to maintain the integrity of the competition.

  • Videos must not contain inappropriate content and should uphold a positive and uplifting spirit of music.

  • Participants must agree to the competition rules to ensure fairness and impartiality.

  • Violations of the rules may result in disqualification. Please adhere to the guidelines.

  • The judges' decisions are final. Please respect the professional evaluation process.

  • The organizers hold the final authority in ensuring the smooth conduct of the competition.

  • The organizers have the right to modify the terms and conditions to protect the fairness of the competition.

  • Awards are non-transferable and are exclusively for the deserving participant.

  • By submitting your entry, you agree to the rules and demonstrate your musical dreams.

  • The organizers have the final authority in resolving disputes to ensure fair competition.
